Show Notes

In this episode we will be introducing the person-centred approach to coaching. It’s an approach that, if you have had some coaching or any coach training, you will probably recognise, even if you didn’t know what it was called.

The person-centred approach provides the basis for non-directive coaching, so it lies at the heart of most people’s coaching activity. Today we will discuss where it stems from, what the key elements of it are, when it is best used, and when perhaps you will want to switch to a different approach.
